ULTIMATE BODY TRAINING (UBT)

This is the most fun you’ll ever have getting in shape! This class is a club introduction to my Martial Fitness training approach. Try my UBT program in your school or club. I’m sure you’ll see it really rocks! UBT virtually guarantees your members a better body in just 12 weeks.

My classes start with jumping rope to get the blood pumping. We then move on to aerobic rounds of kickboxing, boxing or MMA-type synchronized body mechanics in order to work up a good sweat. These varied disciplines teach timing and help class members understand rhythm and tempo. Being able to follow a beat and coordinate your body movements to music allows you to develop technique and a style of your own. I offset each round with GPP or XGPP muscle endurance intervals. I emphasize fluidity in motion, left and right side coordination, cardiovascular endurance, and skill application in an ever-changing sequence of drills and combinations set to high-energy music.

The second half of class is devoted to making contact. I use water bags, heavy bags, BOB (Body Opponent Bags), shields and ping-pong drills between participants to gain some feel for safely making contact. I use this half of class to gain an understanding of how to apply all the tools that are learned in the first half of class. This can consist of more than just kicking and punching a bag. Sometimes we use shoving or wrestling and even discuss practical self-defense. Most importantly, while I am working you out, I am subconsciously influencing you with combat strategy and tactics, weaving it right into the fabric of the class. Then I can relate a situation or scenario and you find you already know the answer. My Martial Fitness UBT classes are a lot of fun and anyone can enjoy the benefits. This is a great way to relieve tension and sll that is required is your desire to participate!
