Level 3 - Mixed Martial Arts Curriculum This class is offered Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30. The Mixed Martial Arts Curriculum begins the intermediate level of MMA training at Pittsburgh Fight Club.
This segment of our programming is designed to build basic functional fighting skill, anaerobic conditioning, and mental toughness for competition. Level 3 covers Yellow Belt up through Blue Belt testing in the PFC Black Belt ranking system. The goal of this class is to synchronize MMA technique with more advanced Combat Conditioning, vital to success at the early stages of amateur competition. Students establish an understanding of personal style, range transition, and how to utilize strategy & tactics for basic Submission Wrestling, Boxing, Kick Boxing and MMA fighting technique. Teamwork is stressed, and a progression of MMA technique are blended together with functional MMA exercises. Rank testing is every 3-6 months.
